Dynamic Lighting System Addon lets you hold torches, lanterns, and other items to light up your surroundings in real time. The addon places invisible light sources around you based on what you’re carrying, so you can explore caves and dark areas without placing blocks. You can customize which items glow, adjust their brightness, and even make dropped items emit light.

Features:

  • Hold light-emitting items in your hand or offhand to dynamically illuminate areas around you.
  • Customize light levels, offhand support, and underwater lighting for each item individually.
  • Add any custom items or blocks as light sources using the configuration system.
  • Enable server mode with operator permissions for multiplayer worlds.
  • Works in survival and creative modes without disabling achievements.

Commands:

  • Use /give @s dl_adl:book to get the Advanced Dynamic Light Book, which opens all configuration menus.

Configuration:

  • Access the Advanced Dynamic Light Book to configure dynamic light settings for each item.
  • Manage global light behavior and offhand activation modes.
  • Grant or revoke operator permissions to other players in server mode.
  • The first player to join automatically becomes the Original Operator.
