Crafting an enchanting table requires a combination of four obsidian blocks, two diamonds, and one book. While the material cost may seem high, the benefits provided to your gear are essential for late-game progression.

To reach the maximum enchantment level of 30, you must position 15 bookshelves exactly one block away from the table. Proper placement is vital to avoid wasting experience points on weak upgrades. You can also manipulate the available enchantment levels by strategically placing torches or glass blocks to obstruct specific bookshelves.
