This efficient iron farm, designed by Nico Is Lost, is a three-layer build capable of producing around 4863 iron ingots per hour. It’s a practical addition to any Minecraft world looking to boost iron production.

Please be aware that the killing chamber component is not included in the schematic file. A reference screenshot is provided within the listing to help you easily construct this simple but essential part of the farm.

Before You Build

This build uses 3,476 blocks across 23 block types – about 55 stacks in total, or 3 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 25×21 blocks of ground and stands 50 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Nether Portal – 1,008 15 stacks + 48
Obsidian – 798 12 stacks + 30
Waxed Oxidized Copper – 695 10 stacks + 55
Warped Trapdoor – 393 6 stacks + 9
Scaffolding – 144 2 stacks + 16

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Nether Portal, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Comparator, Dropper, Hopper, Lever, Observer, Redstone Wire, Repeater, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
