This advanced Minecraft build is a long-range pearl cannon designed for significant distances, capable of launching pearls up to 632 kilometers. It features live BED encoding, a differential 2gt circle basket for wider range and better TNT efficiency, and flat TNT dupers with dust BUDs to simplify construction. Chunk loaders ensure the cannon remains active during TNT duper activation, preventing any unloading issues.

The design supports multi-shot capabilities, launching several pearls simultaneously. Pearls are fired above world height to minimize chunk loading. It offers up to 36 programmable destinations via an expandable 4×9 panel and includes double pearl detection to prevent accidental firing due to improper alignment.

Key specifications include a base range of 632km, with variants reaching 316km and 158km. The time from pearl throw to explosion is 185gt. The cannon uses a substantial amount of TNT for acceleration and propellant, with specific counts varying by variant. It is designed to launch pearls to a height of over 256 blocks, with variable Y-motion to maintain altitude. The build is directional and requires chunk-aligned chunk loaders for optimal performance. Instructions and a calculator for generating cannon encoding are available via a provided link.

Before You Build

This build uses 245,247 blocks across 99 block types – about 3,832 stacks in total, or 142 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 81×267 blocks of ground and stands 154 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Bedrock – 63,664 994 stacks + 48
Netherrack – 40,851 638 stacks + 19
Redstone Wire – 18,067 282 stacks + 19
Light Blue Stained Glass – 15,630 244 stacks + 14
Red Stained Glass – 15,423 240 stacks + 63

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Bedrock, Nether Portal, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Activator Rail, Comparator, Crafter, Dispenser, Dropper, Honey Block, Hopper, Lever, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
