This creeper farm utilizes a shifting floor design for maximum efficiency. For optimal placement, it is recommended to build it across two chunks and at the lowest possible layer, ideally at bedrock level.

To ensure the highest output, minimize your simulation distance and thoroughly illuminate all areas within a 128-block radius surrounding the farm. The hopper filter mechanism requires precisely 26 items to function correctly.

Please note that input and output systems are not integrated into this specific farm design.

Before You Build

This build uses 2,969 blocks across 27 block types – about 47 stacks in total, or 2 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 34×21 blocks of ground and stands 12 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Spruce Trapdoor – 672 10 stacks + 32
Polished Diorite Slab – 419 6 stacks + 35
Water – 385 6 stacks + 1
Polished Diorite – 372 5 stacks + 52
Magma Block – 364 5 stacks + 44

Survival or creative?

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Glass, Packed Ice.

Moving parts

It includes Comparator, Dropper, Hopper, Observer, Piston, Powered Rail, Redstone Block, Redstone Wire, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
