This calculator was constructed approximately three years ago. The last time it was updated in its world was in late July 2023, so the version range reflects that. However, if your version supports the target block, it should function correctly.
It took over three months to gather all the necessary components and theoretical aspects from mattbatwings to complete this impressive build. While it’s possible to make it more compact and faster, this version stands as a good personal challenge. The process of designing and assembling everything was a truly wonderful experience.
The calculator features division with two decimal places of precision. Square roots are also precise to two decimal places but approximate to x.00, x.25, x.50, or x.75. Squaring a number or calculating its square root is limited to the superior digit.
Materials Required
42 block types · 84,760 blocks · 161×61×119
Before You Build
This build uses 84,760 blocks across 42 block types – about 1,325 stacks in total, or 50 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 161×119 blocks of ground and stands 61 blocks tall.
What to bring first
Survival or creative?
Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands.
How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Comparator, Lever, Note Block, Redstone Block, Redstone Lamp, Redstone Torch, Redstone Wire, Repeater, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
