This is an updated version of a previously released drawbridge build. It’s designed to be a fantastic addition to any Minecraft base, offering smooth operation. The mechanism is powered by redstone and command blocks.

Please be mindful of placement; avoid areas where water could damage the redstone components. Additionally, note that this drawbridge cannot be rotated.

While tested and functional in version 1.15, keep in mind that WorldEdit capabilities for pasting may not yet be available for that version.

Before You Build

This build uses 2,012 blocks across 25 block types – about 32 stacks in total, or 2 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 19×14 blocks of ground and stands 18 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Stone – 947 14 stacks + 51
Stone Bricks – 411 6 stacks + 27
Water – 144 2 stacks + 16
Dirt – 96 1 stack + 32
White Terracotta – 80 1 stack + 16

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Chain Command Block, Command Block, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Redstone Wire, Repeater, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
