This historic inn has a rich and varied past, with additions made over centuries. It began as two distinct businesses on opposite sides of a road, which eventually merged. To keep the road open, a tunnel was incorporated into the structure. The buildings have served various purposes, including a tannery, abattoir, blacksmith, and cart works, but have been a local hotel and pub for at least 200 years, undergoing numerous alterations and even a fire, the remnants of which are still visible.
The ground floor features a spacious kitchen on one side and a public bar on the other. Upstairs, you’ll find two garden balconies, a formal dining area, and a sitting room. Further up, there is accommodation ready to be furnished, with additional space available in the attic.
While some interior rooms await final touches, this build is available for public use with proper credit. Enjoy exploring this ancient establishment!
