This is an updated version of a medieval castle, situated atop a hill and designed to be a central piece for a developing town. The builder aimed for a survival-friendly aesthetic rather than an overly elaborate creative build, experimenting with WorldEdit brushes for the first time to shape the surrounding hill.
The castle includes a variety of functional and decorative areas such as a blacksmith, a library, a Jorrvaskr-inspired hall complete with a kitchen and storage, a master bedroom in the main keep, a kitchen with an outdoor patio, a guest bedroom tower, and a small stable. Additionally, it features a small wheat field, terraced gardens, traditional castle walls and towers, and a portcullis entrance accessible via a hidden staircase and door.
Please note that monster spawns may not be fully managed, and the builder advises disabling fire spread (gamerule doFireTick false) to prevent accidental destruction. The build is showcased with the Conquest resource pack, which affects the roof’s appearance. Credit must be given to the original builder for any use of this schematic. The large pine trees on the hill are credited to a separate source.

Survival or creative?
