This is an updated version of the Guardian Farm, specifically designed for Minecraft 1.13. The design now incorporates lava at the bottom of the kill chamber, causing guardians to take damage and die, with their drops conveniently collected in chests below. This improves upon the previous version where guardians simply flailed without dying. The exterior glass has been reduced as it’s largely unnecessary unless significant additional work is done, particularly in survival mode.
This farm must be constructed within a Monument. If you are in creative mode, you can use the command /locate Monument to find the nearest one. Then, use /tp to teleport to the specified coordinates and begin excavating the monument. You can hollow out the monument using sand, and then remove the sand, leaving a single layer as a wall before constructing the farm.
To ensure proper water flow throughout the entire tank, a specialized platform must be built below the top layer. Alternatively, you can use world editing tools to fill the area between the top of the farm and the magma blocks with water, taking care not to extend the water below the magma blocks.
