This schematic features a delayed deactivation circuit designed for a hidden descending stairway. The circuit is presented in a flat layout with clear explanations of its operation via signs.

It is set up for copying while standing on an emerald block and facing east. The circuit utilizes a generic input to an AND gate, allowing for activation from various sources. In the original stairway implementation, this includes a button at the top and pressure plates within the underground room.
