Discover a clever 2×5 block hidden door that reveals a secret stairway descending underground. This ingenious mechanism is perfect for concealing entrances to dungeons, secret labs, or treasure vaults. The schematic includes an activation button at ground level and pressure plates at the bottom for entry from below.
The design features a timed circuit that automatically closes the door after approximately 15 seconds. To ensure smooth operation, an AND gate lockout prevents conflicting inputs when the door is already in motion. This redstone contraption is designed for stability and reliability.
The schematic was copied from a hidden door integrated into a field, so some surrounding terrain elements are included as implementation ideas. While the delay circuit is currently laid out horizontally, it could potentially be relocated beneath the door to reduce its horizontal footprint. Some minor cleanup may be beneficial before final integration.
