This is a compact door mechanism that functions as a combination lock. It is designed to prevent spam and ensures that the correct sequence of inputs is followed. The lock automatically resets if the four-digit combination is not entered correctly or if an incorrect key is pressed at any point during the sequence. For example, if the sequence is 1-3-4-9, pressing any other button will trigger a reset. If the correct numbers are pressed but in the wrong order, a reset button must be used to try again.
The numerical input style resembles a keypad with numbers arranged as: 1 2 3, 4 5 6, 7 8 9. A sample combination could be 1, 5, 9, 7, followed by an enter press. A helpful tip for remembering a combination is to visualize it as an angled ‘greater than’ sign.
