This redstone-powered streetlight automatically illuminates at dusk and turns off at dawn. Its design is exceptionally compact and straightforward, making it simple to construct in large quantities. The streetlight offers an attractive aesthetic without being bulky or obtrusive. For optimal visual appeal and uniform lighting, it’s recommended to place these lights every 40 blocks, with each post standing 7 blocks high from the road surface.
This design is an original creation, conceived around the autumn of 2013. Initially kept private, it is now being shared due to its significant utility for enhancing roads and cities in Minecraft builds.
