Hoglin Summon Command Generator (Java Edition) — Baby Toggle NBT
Build /summon commands with custom NBT for every vanilla mob — baby variants, equipment, colors, and mob-specific options.
Run /summon from an operator’s chat, a command block, or the server console. Not every internal NBT field is covered — this generates the commonly-used ones for each mob.
How to Use the Hoglin Summon Generator
- Type hoglin into the search box, or select it from the Hostile group in the dropdown.
- Toggle Is Baby for a small, fast baby hoglin instead of an adult.
- Use the shared fields above the panel (Health, Glowing, No AI, etc.) for anything else – Baby is the only mob-specific field this generator exposes for Hoglin.
- Copy the finished
/summoncommand into a command block, server console, or operator chat.
Command Syntax & NBT Reference
Base command: /summon minecraft:hoglin ~ ~ ~ {NBT}. The single field on this panel maps to:
IsBaby:1b– spawns a baby hoglin, which is smaller, faster, and (like other baby mobs) can be bred toward faster maturity by feeding it crimson fungus.
This generator doesn’t expose a separate zombification-immunity or timer field for Hoglin – the Nether-only despawn/conversion behavior described below is handled entirely by the game’s world logic based on which dimension the hoglin is standing in, not by anything summonable via NBT.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will a hoglin summoned in the Overworld turn into a zoglin?
Yes – any hoglin, including one placed via this generator’s /summon command, converts into a zoglin after roughly 15 seconds spent outside the Nether. This is dimension-based world logic, not something tied to how the hoglin was created, so it applies identically whether the hoglin spawned naturally or through this tool.
How do I stop a hoglin I summoned from converting to a zoglin?
Feeding it crimson fungus before it converts prevents the zombification entirely and also stops it from despawning naturally – this applies the same way to a hoglin summoned via this generator as to a wild one. Alternatively, simply keep it inside the Nether, since the conversion only triggers after sustained time in another dimension.
Why does my summoned hoglin keep running away from a nearby portal?
Hoglins are repelled by nearby nether portals, respawn anchors, and warped fungus, fleeing when those are within about 7 blocks – this is baseline hoglin behavior unrelated to any NBT this generator sets, so a summoned hoglin reacts to those triggers exactly like a naturally-spawned herd member.
What’s the difference between summoning a Hoglin and a Zoglin directly?
Zoglin is the separate, already-zombified undead form with its own combat stats (and its own entry elsewhere in this tool, if available) – summoning a Hoglin here gives you the living, breedable version that still attacks by launching targets into the air with its tusks and can be repelled by warped fungus, neither of which apply to a Zoglin.
