Build /summon commands with custom NBT for every vanilla mob — baby variants, equipment, colors, and mob-specific options.

Run /summon from an operator’s chat, a command block, or the server console. Not every internal NBT field is covered — this generates the commonly-used ones for each mob.

Summon Command Generators for Every Minecraft Mob

This is the hub for building a Java Edition /summon command for any of the 67 vanilla mobs currently in the game – hostile monsters, boss fights, passive animals, farm animals, and utility entities like armor stands and golems. Pick a mob from the dropdown above to get its dedicated panel with baby toggles, equipment slots, color variants, and every other mob-specific NBT field this tool covers, or jump straight to a mob’s own page below for a focused walkthrough, syntax breakdown, and FAQ just for that mob.

Every mob listed here has its own permalink that opens this same generator pre-loaded to the right panel via location.hash (e.g. /mob-summon-generator/#zombie), so bookmarking or linking a specific mob always lands a visitor on the correct options instead of the generic default view.

Hostile Mobs

These attack players on sight (Piglins and Piglin Brutes are technically neutral toward players wearing gold armor, but summon here alongside the rest of the Nether/Overworld hostiles). Zombie · Husk · Drowned · Zombie Villager · Skeleton · Stray · Wither Skeleton · Bogged · Creeper · Spider · Cave Spider · Enderman · Endermite · Slime · Magma Cube · Phantom · Blaze · Ghast · Guardian · Elder Guardian · Breeze · Zombified Piglin · Hoglin · Piglin · Piglin Brute · Pillager · Vindicator · Evoker · Vex · Witch · Ravager

Boss Mobs

The two end-game bosses, each with their own fight-specific NBT (like the Ender Dragon’s phase state). Wither · Ender Dragon

Neutral Mobs

These only fight back once provoked. Wolf · Shulker

Passive Mobs

Wildlife and companions that never attack players. Cat · Bee · Villager · Axolotl · Frog · Panda · Parrot · Rabbit · Fox · Tropical Fish · Goat · Turtle · Dolphin · Ocelot · Sniffer · Armadillo

Farm Animals

Breedable, farmable livestock and mounts. Pig · Cow · Sheep · Chicken · Mooshroom · Horse · Donkey · Mule · Camel · Llama

Utility & Other Mobs

Golems, constructs, and non-living entities used more as tools than wildlife. Iron Golem · Snow Golem · Allay · Trader Llama · Strider · Armor Stand

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Minecraft edition does this generator target?

Java Edition. The commands use Java’s SNBT syntax (curly-brace NBT compounds after the coordinates), which is not directly compatible with Bedrock Edition’s command and NBT format for the same mobs.

Do I need to be an operator to run these commands?

Yes. /summon requires operator permission (or permission level 2+), so run it from an op’s chat window, a command block, or the server console.

Why does every mob have its own separate page instead of one long list here?

Each mob has different spawn options – a Zombie has a door-breaking toggle, a Creeper has a fuse timer, a Sheep has a wool color – so a dedicated page per mob can explain exactly what its NBT fields do and answer mob-specific questions, instead of one generic page trying to cover all 67 at once.

Does this cover every possible NBT tag for each mob?

No. This generator focuses on the commonly-used, commonly-requested fields for each mob (baby state, equipment, color/variant, taming, and similar) rather than every internal NBT tag the game engine supports.

Can I combine mob NBT with position, rotation, or a custom name?

This generator’s own output is scoped to the mob’s own attributes. For custom names, teams, and other general entity data that applies across all mob types, see the general Summon Command tab, which accepts free-form NBT.
