This system utilizes minecart chests and renamed paper to send mail to specific players. It features five distinct rails: one for delivery, one for returning empty carts, one leading to the post office, one for failed deliveries, and a central inspection rail.
The system is designed to be tiled and is tuned for a specific direction; do not rotate it. Ensure you use the schematic appropriate for the direction you need.
This is the ‘West’ variant of the design, which is based on an earlier mail system concept.

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Glowstone.

It includes Comparator, Dropper, Hopper, Lever, Powered Rail, Rail, Redstone Block, Redstone Lamp, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
