This is an automated wool farm that requires no external mods. To set it up, place 20-40 sheep spawn eggs into the dispensers and then add shears to each dispenser to ensure continuous wool production.

The farm utilizes a variety of blocks including dirt, grass, iron blocks, quartz blocks, and glass. It also incorporates slabs, stairs, torches for lighting, and rails for movement.

Redstone components such as dust, repeaters, levers, pressure plates, hoppers, dispensers, and observers are used to power the farm’s automation. This is my initial design for this type of farm.

Before You Build

This build uses 1,328 blocks across 25 block types – about 21 stacks in total, which fits inside a single shulker box. It occupies 12×16 blocks of ground and stands 19 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Dirt – 392 6 stacks + 8
Quartz Block – 174 2 stacks + 46
Glass – 160 2 stacks + 32
Grass Block – 127 1 stack + 63
Brick Stairs – 112 1 stack + 48

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Dirt Path, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Dispenser, Hopper, Lever, Observer, Powered Rail, Rail, Redstone Wire, Repeater, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
