Gravel’s Hammers Addon (1.19) (formerly known as Forged Hammers) adds six hammers to your world. This addon is dedicated to remaining in balance with your Minecraft world and not ruining your Minecraft experience with OP items.

Features:

  • Similar to the pickaxe, there are six types of hammers corresponding to the six main material types. The hammers also share the durability of their vanilla pickaxe counterparts, meaning they technically mine the same amount of blocks. The advantage the hammers brings is 3×3 and 3x3x2 mining greatly decreases mining time while also fitting in with the vanilla style.

Controls

  • Regular Mining = NO SNEAKING WHILE mining
  • 3×3 Mining = Sneaking WHILE mining
  • 3x3x2 Mining = Sneaking WHILE interacting on a block

Mechanics

Wood, Stone, and Gold

  • DO NOT support 3x3x2 mining (interacting on the block)
  • CAN NOT be repaired with their respective materials. They can however be put together in an anvil or crafting table.

Iron, Diamond, Netherite

  • Support 3x3x2 mining (interacting on a block)
  • CAN be repaired with their respective materials

Enchanting

  • Does not currently support enchanting due to unintended behavior. Hopefully, Mojang fixes this in the future.

Durability

  • Wood – 60
  • Stone – 132
  • Iron – 251
  • Gold – 33
  • Diamond – 1562
  • Netherite – 2032
  • Durability Chart
  • One Block – One Durability Point
  • 3×3 – 9 Durability Points
  • 3x3x2 – 18 Durability Points

Crafting the Hammers

  • All hammers besides Netherite are required to be crafted on the workbench.
