LambDynamicLights Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) introduces dynamic lighting into the game, which will completely overhaul the expedition experience. When traveling through a dark cave, the only source of light players have is the torch, however, torches are often unreliable as they can only light up a particular area around them. With Dynamic Lighting, the way torches interact with their surrounding environment and how the light is emitted will be completely different. The dynamic lighting is inspired by how light would normally behave in real life, thus making lighting feels more natural and grounded. At the same time, players don’t even need to place a torch down in order for it to emit light, rather, they can hold it in their hands and walk around. Not only the torches but lanterns and other light sources will also utilize this dynamic lighting system.
