More Chat History Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) allows players to scroll back down further and read the chat that has been buried with time. In the default setting of the game, only 100 messages can be displayed at once. While this is more than enough for the average players as they wouldn’t need to read more than that, however, within more crowded servers such as Hypixel, where there are thousands of people chatting at once. Not only do players need to look over all the players’ messages, but they would also need to take into account different events that are happening. Therefore, 100 messages being displayed at once wouldn’t make the cut. With More Chat History, at least 16000 different chat messages will be recorded at once, thus allowing players to participate in all events without missing a heartbeat. If players ever find themselves being in an argument with other players, it would also be an advantage to see their old messages as well.
