Quilt Standard Libraries gives modders Quilt-exclusive tools to add new and exciting features to their mods. Quilted Fabric API (1.19.2, 1.18.2) is a Quilt reimplementation of the Fabric API on top of the Quilt Standard Libraries.

The main objective is to aid both players and mod developers with the migration to the Quilt toolchain by allowing Fabric mods who depended on the Fabric API to work seamlessly and by letting Fabric API modules who doesn’t yet have a QSL equivalent co-exist with other QSL modules.

This is the backbone work for the famous client and performance optimization Quilt series. Within the gaming world, FPS and tickrate have invariably been paramount to deciding whether players will have a great gaming experience. Without one of those two, it is hard to tell if playing a game is even worthwhile at all. Until now, only two popular Mods do actually improve the game’s performance by a significant margin which are Optifine and Quilt. For Quilt, it can even be debated that it has a far better optimization compared to its counterpart, but they are all subjective. Almost any players would need to install Quilt even if they have the literal best Computer specs in the world. However, without Quilt Standard Libraries, players will find their Quilt Mod fails to function properly.
