This automatic smelting setup features 128 furnaces, designed for easy integration and concealment underground. It’s an expansion of a previous 64-furnace design, enhanced for greater capacity.
To operate efficiently, only two hoppers require 64 units of coal, and four shovels are needed. This ensures that as more coal is consumed, it’s automatically replenished. The collection system utilizes two hopper minecarts positioned at the output chest.
For a seamless aesthetic, you can align the collection chest with honey blocks or another chest. Then, pour concrete from above to achieve a solid appearance. The concrete will naturally solidify with the presence of water, completing the build’s integration.

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Packed Ice.

It includes Comparator, Detector Rail, Dropper, Hopper, Observer, Powered Rail, Rail, Redstone Block, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
