This is a faithful recreation of the Lazurnyy swimming pool, originally located in Pripyat, near Chernobyl. Construction took a considerable amount of time to achieve this level of accuracy. The city of Pripyat in Ukraine is now abandoned. You can find more information online about its history. This build is based on real-life references.

I am capable of building more structures if needed. This project aims to replicate the original pool as closely as possible to its current state.

Before You Build

This build uses 16,291 blocks across 40 block types – about 255 stacks in total, or 10 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 57×41 blocks of ground and stands 20 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Survival or creative?

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Glass Pane, Grass Block.

Moving parts

It includes Lever, Redstone Block, Redstone Lamp, Tripwire Hook, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
