Discover a clever and compact two-way hidden door mechanism. This design utilizes pressure plates on both sides, allowing seamless passage in either direction with automatic closure. It’s engineered to be exceptionally small, measuring just 4 blocks tall from your character’s feet, with 3 blocks beneath your feet, a width of 7 blocks, and a thickness of 6 blocks. The entire contraption is powered by 6 sticky pistons.
Upon assembly, you’ll find yourself positioned north of the mechanism, ready to use it from the entry point. Feel free to customize the appearance by swapping out the default stone blocks with any material that suits your build.
This is my current best iteration for this style of hidden door. I’m always interested in seeing more efficient or smaller designs from the community!

How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Redstone Torch, Redstone Wire, Repeater, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
