This is a streamlined design for a pumpkin and melon farm, optimized for survival gameplay. It has been tested and confirmed to function across Minecraft versions from 1.13 to the latest releases.

The compact nature of this build makes it achievable in survival mode. You also have the flexibility to expand the farm by adding additional levels to increase its output.

The farm yields approximately 15 pumpkins or 40 melon slices every five minutes, offering a steady supply of these resources.

Before You Build

This build uses 1,997 blocks across 21 block types – about 32 stacks in total, or 2 shulker boxes worth of material. It occupies 19×19 blocks of ground and stands 24 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Smooth Stone – 614 9 stacks + 38
Smooth Stone Slab – 247 3 stacks + 55
Glass – 220 3 stacks + 28
Dirt – 127 1 stack + 63
Water – 104 1 stack + 40

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Farmland, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Hopper, Lever, Observer, Piston, Redstone Lamp, Redstone Wire, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
