Enhance your Minecraft builds with these automated doors, primarily utilizing command blocks with some redstone integration. The visual effect of the doors smoothly opening and closing is best appreciated in motion, though screenshots cannot fully capture their appeal.

This creation was developed for Minecraft version 1.10.2. Due to potential command block code changes in different versions, it’s advisable to back up your schematic file before use. If compatibility issues arise, restoring from your backup will ensure the schematic functions correctly.

I would be interested to hear about your experiences using these doors in your own projects.

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Chain Command Block, Command Block, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Redstone Wire, Repeater, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
