This is a straightforward and efficient design for breaking bedrock. It’s a manual contraption that is also very cost-effective to build.
It’s perfect for clearing out or creating small openings in the bedrock layer, whether in the Nether’s ceiling or the Overworld. This machine is also effective on Reinforced Deepslate, End Portal frames, and other blocks that cannot normally be destroyed.
Materials Required
10 block types · 60 blocks · 5×5×4
Before You Build
This build uses 60 blocks across 10 block types – about 1 stacks in total, which fits inside a single shulker box. It occupies 5×4 blocks of ground and stands 5 blocks tall.
What to bring first
Survival or creative?
This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Bedrock, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.
How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Lever, Redstone Block, Redstone Wire, Repeater, Slime Block, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
