Introducing Percy, the beloved No. 6 green engine and Thomas’s best friend from the railway!
Percy is the youngest engine on Sir Topham Hatt’s railway, content with his duties around the yard, especially delivering the mail. He’s known for his helpful nature, though sometimes other engines take advantage of it. This 0-4-0 saddle tank engine is modeled after those from the Avonside Engine Company.
The ‘0-4-0’ designation refers to the wheel arrangement: zero leading wheels, four driving wheels, and zero trailing wheels. It’s fascinating how unique each engine is, despite initial similarities.
