This Minecraft build is a faithful recreation of the former Philips Electronics and Lighting Company head office building located in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The structure specifically models the c.1990 version, featuring the main tower and surrounding low-rise sections, which reflects a later stage of the building’s history after earlier expansions were removed.
Inside, the top floor is furnished and includes an air conditioning unit. While other floors and the low-rise areas are largely empty, the floor plan accurately mirrors the actual building’s layout, though some minor scale discrepancies exist, with blocks representing approximately 250-330cm. The lift shafts are unfinished and open for personal customization.
This building, situated on Boschdijk north of Centrum, served as Philips’ headquarters from roughly 1965 to 2003. Following Frits Philips’ passing, the company relocated its main offices to Rotterdam. The site was then acquired by the United Nations, leading to the demolition of most former Philips structures, with this building being a notable exception.
A teleport command block is present in the top-floor red room. It is provided for customization to fit your specific needs.
