This build features a fully automatic 24-hour clock for your Minecraft sidebar. It’s constructed using a sequence of 12 command blocks.

While you’ll need to manually set the initial Hours, Minutes, and Seconds, the clock will then operate continuously on its own. This design is original, and I haven’t encountered a similar creation before.

Before You Build

This build uses 65 blocks across 5 block types – about 2 stacks in total, which fits inside a single shulker box. It occupies 5×8 blocks of ground and stands 13 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Grass Block – 40
Chain Command Block – 11
Redstone Wire – 10
Repeater – 3
Command Block – 1

Survival or creative?

This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Chain Command Block, Command Block, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.

Moving parts

It includes Redstone Wire, Repeater, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
