This compact and efficient Enderman farm is designed for Minecraft versions 1.13 and later. It requires construction on the edge of the Ender Dragon Island, specifically at Y-level 1. To ensure proper functionality, Endermen must be spawned by throwing Ender Pearls; spawning via eggs or commands will not work.

For versions 1.15 and above, it is crucial to maintain a safe distance between the player and the Endermen, typically achieved using fences. This design leverages new and optimized spawning mechanics, making it one of the most powerful small-scale Enderman farms available.

The farm also incorporates a slightly safer carpet pattern around the spawning area for Endermen. This build takes advantage of several key changes in mob spawning mechanics introduced in 1.13, including mobs no longer spawning inside each other, spawning concentration being based on the topmost block, and mobs spawning in specific pack sizes, all contributing to increased spawn rates.
