This design creates a perfectly smooth wall by removing blocks with a world eater. Wool markers indicate the area where the trencher will operate.

These wool blocks also signify the minimum depth required, extending down to the deepslate layer. This ensures the trencher can descend and function without obstruction or damage.

The schematic offers ON and OFF configurations, allowing you to adapt it to your specific perimeter dimensions.

Before You Build

This build uses 600 blocks across 19 block types – about 10 stacks in total, which fits inside a single shulker box. It occupies 24×33 blocks of ground and stands 84 blocks tall.

What to bring first

Slime Block – 142 2 stacks + 14
Stone – 101 1 stack + 37
Yellow Wool – 89 1 stack + 25
Observer – 48
Piston – 48

Survival or creative?

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands.

Moving parts

It includes Detector Rail, Honey Block, Note Block, Observer, Piston, Redstone Block, Slime Block, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
