This schematic provides a tower designed to support the popular Truncoctagon structure, specifically on flatter terrain. The tower is 23 blocks wide, with an additional two blocks on one side for access stairs.
When built at sea level, the tower reaches the height limit, including the Truncoctagon placed on top. It’s constructed as an extension of the original Truncoctagon’s support column, with repeating sections that can be removed to adapt it for placement on higher ground.
The tower has been subtly altered to allow a beacon beam to travel up its central axis. Two colored glass blocks, one red in a lower room and one blue at the very top, modify the beam’s color. Remove these blocks if you prefer a standard white beacon beam.

What to bring first
Survival or creative?
This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Barrier, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.
How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Hopper, Redstone Torch, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
