This build serves as a comprehensive tutorial for constructing your own prismarine shard and crystal farm. To place it, you’ll first need to locate an underwater temple. The soul sand within the temple effectively kills fish and functions similarly to a water tower, efficiently collecting prismarine resources.

The farm is also designed to gather salmon, cod, and black ink. For optimal efficiency, constructing the farm in a square layout is recommended. Please note that wearing Frost Walker enchanted boots is not advised, as melting ice can create uneven water surfaces.

Apologies for the less-than-ideal screenshots; in the provided files, the terrain has been converted to glass, and the plot block in single-player mode has also been replaced with glass.

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Glass, Sea Lantern.

Moving parts

It includes Hopper, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
