This design allows for the automated charging of up to 189 creepers with a single lightning strike. Creepers are collected and held within the machine, ready to be electrified.
The farm features nine storage slots, with each capable of holding up to 21 creepers. The number of entities in each slot is detected using pressure plates, which generate a redstone signal based on the entities present. Specifically, an iron pressure plate provides 1 power for every 10 entities, with its signal turning off at 21 entities.
You can customize the creeper count per slot by selecting different pressure plates. Iron plates register 10 entities (off at 21), gold plates 3 entities (off at 3), and stone/wood plates 1 entity (off at 1). Pistons and gates work together to eject creepers when the machine is powered and lightning strikes.
To overcome the Minecraft mob cap, use nametags on each creeper to make them unique entities, allowing for higher concentrations and further mob spawns. For optimal efficiency, a robust mob farm is recommended to quickly fill the charging slots, especially during storms, as filling speed directly impacts productivity between lightning events.

Survival or creative?
Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands.
How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Activator Rail, Lever, Piston, Powered Rail, Rail, Redstone Wire, Repeater, Target, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
