This is the improved version of the 8×4 door I previously created. It features a smooth design, making it easy to integrate into various builds. I encourage anyone to try and enhance the design and share their success in the comments. I will follow anyone who achieves an improved design. The door can also be extended vertically.

This build uses 798 blocks across 17 block types – about 13 stacks in total, which fits inside a single shulker box. It occupies 10×21 blocks of ground and stands 12 blocks tall.

Survival or creative?
This build is not survival-obtainable as-is. It contains Structure Block, which cannot be collected in survival – paste it in creative, or substitute those blocks.
How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Honey Block, Note Block, Observer, Redstone Wire, Repeater, Slime Block, Sticky Piston, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
