This is a compact cobblestone generator, an evolution of previous designs. It features an access hatch and ladder at the rear for entry to the redstone mechanism. A button on the side resets the circuit if it freezes upon chunk unload.
Cobblestone fencing facilitates the easy placement and removal of water and lava blocks, making operation straightforward.

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Grass Block.
How to Place It:
Moving parts
It includes Piston, Redstone Torch, Redstone Wire, Repeater, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
