This is Gnembon’s original gold farm design, optimized for versions 1.16 – 20w15a. It can achieve over 90,000 items per hour in this version. While it functions in other versions, performance may be slightly reduced.

The farm is located within the Nether Wastes biome.

What to bring first

Survival or creative?

Every block in this build can be obtained in survival, so it can be built by hand without creative mode or commands. You will need Silk Touch for Glass, Glass Pane, Packed Ice, Turtle Egg.

Moving parts

It includes Comparator, Dropper, Honey Block, Hopper, Note Block, Observer, Redstone Block, Redstone Wire, so check the mechanism still works after pasting – redstone state and item-container contents do not always survive a paste.
